The Women’s Auxiliary
provides funds for High School Girls wanting to
attend Girl’s State. Also Scholarship money is given
to High School Students to further their education.
To apply for these opportunities, you may obtain
forms and more information from your High School
Counselor.
During Memorial Day Weekend, Poppy flowers are sold
and Wreaths are placed on Soldier's graves and the names of fallen
soldiers are read during the Memorial Day services
held at many local cemeteries.
The Pie Stand is always a big hit at the Veteran’s
Day Celebration. You will find the pies on sale at
the Vo-tech Building next to the Cook House. Don’t
miss them! Be sure to buy raffle tickets for
the handmade Quilt and other items to be drawn on
Veteran's Day.
