Pro-Ag Marketing Buys Country Corner
The purchase of Country Corner in
Kensington by Pro-Ag Marketing from
Central Plains Co-op was finalized, and
Pro-Ag took over the ownership on May 1
according to Pro-Ag manager James Jirak.
A grand opening is planned in the near
future and the new name suggested by the
winner of the contest will be announced
at that time.
Mr. Jirak states that the services will
remain pretty much as before. New pumps
have been installed and the Pro-Ag club
cards can be used until the computers
have been changed over and new cards
will be issued. Farm and road diesel
will continue to be available at the
former station on Highway 36 making for
less large truck, semi, and implement
traffic and congestion at the station on
the corner of Highway 36 and Main
Street.
The community wishes to thank Central
Plains Co-op and their employees for
serving the Kensington community well
after building and running the business.
The new owners hope to continue this
same service for the community in the
future.

Thought for the week: "Don't be sad
about the things you want and don't get.
