for the week was "SonQuest Rainforest"
and offerings of $200 were rasied for
the Make a Wish Foundation. A large
crowd attended the final program at the
St. John Lutheran Church Friday followed
by a balloon launch on a beautiful
wind-free morning. The children from the
First St. John Lutheran Church and the
United Church were transported to the
program site on the Kensington fire
trucks driven by Pastor Dave Hutson and
Curtis Beach.

been here. On Sunday they all went to
Susie's brother Rydal and Melany Tuxhorn
in Muden for a dinner. Susie's niece and
husband, Samantha, Annie and Hannah were
also there for a great family reunion.
Skylar left on Tuesday.

time was limited as they were having a

who lived in Fireside, Colo. Also
attending their uncle's funeral were Dee
and Rosanne Panter from Elkhart and

It's been a rainy Monday morning with
intermittent heavy thunderstorms which
dumped about 1 inch of rain in Kensigton
City. As this column is completed in
late afternoon, the sun is shining but
further storms are still in the
forecast. The hot days the end of last
week has gave the wheat more golden
tinges making the farmers even more
antsy to get the spring row crops into
the ground before the wheat harvest
demands their attention. It is a busy
time.
