If you wish to eat dinner at the Center before the meeting, be sure to call in your reservations no later than Tuesday noon, Jan. 13.

On Thursday, New Year's Day, there will be a meal served at 11:30 a.m. at the Center from the surplus food that was prepared for the Christmas dinner. Everyone is invited to come and enjoy the noon meal and celebrate the New Year with friends. Anyone is welcome.

Despite the extreme cold day, 32 persons gathered at the Center on Dec. 20 for an early Christmas dinner. The meal was delicious and there was a huge variety of pie. Thanks to all who donated pies or other dishes. In the afternoon the Christmas party and gift exchange was held. Armi read some short pieces on Christmas past which took the group back to their childhood. Numbers were drawn and each chose a gift. Six persons stayed to play cards. The day ended about 4 p.m. and the Center was locked up for the weekend.

Thanks to Gary Hainke for the substantial memorial contribution given in memory of Grace Hainke. He requested that the money be used for new light weight tables. This gift makes it possible for all tables to be new at the Center.
